CQ Wilder, M.ED. is a graduate from George Mason University earning a Master's of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, with a concentration in ESL Education. She is currently an ESL Professor at Prince George's Community College, along with being a Language Acquisition Manager at a public charter school in DC. She has presented at various conferences, including the National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE), and has worked closely with the Office of State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) and the DC Public Charter School Board. Her classroom was highlighted in The Achievable Dream: College Board Lessons on Creating Great Schools written by Gaston Caperton and Richard Whitmore in 2012.
CQ Wilder, M.ED. is the author and creator of The Karla the Dog book series, which was created based off her Maltipoo dog named Karla. These books include Karla the Dog: Deep-Sea Adventure, Karla the Dog: Island of Mysterious Wonders, Karla the Dog: Visits the Farm, Karla the Dog: Urban Gardening, Karla the Dog: Adventures in Space, and Karla the Dog: Travels around the Solar System.
